Rifle, shotgun, liquor taken in home burglary
NIAGARA FALLS—A rifle, shotgun and several bottles of liquor were among the items taken in a Friday burglary of a Cayuga Drive home, police said.
Someone pried open a side door to the residence between 9:30 a. m. and 3:30 p. m., police said, then kicked in more doors in the basement area. A bar area was entered and several bottles of assorted liquors were removed.
An iPod was stolen from a child’s bedroom and a .223-caliber rifle was removed from a locked gun cabinet, along with a shotgun. Total loss was estimated at about $2,400.

Kids don't need iPods. They need parents. You can be sure that my child won't have an iPod for a loooong while. And 10 year old kids with cellphones?? The only reason a kid needs a cellphone is when they start driving and only to be used for an emergency. Not to text their BFF 100 times a day.
And we wonder why the world is in the state it is...

I know I went off topic, but I feel strongly about children being children. I grew up just fine without an iPOD.
