The largest concentration of Muslims in the world is in Indonesia.
A secular state.
Most of them think of themselves as "secular Muslims." Women can drive, have jobs, date men to whom they're NOT related, get educated as far as they want to go. The government is NOT run by Sharia.
They do have problems with fundamentalist Muslim assholes who want to impose their views on everybody (sort of like the bunches of fundamentalist Christians who want to claim that the USA is a Christian country, except they aren't killing the rest of us... yet). These are the kind of people that you would never guess were "Mudslimes," because they don't act like that.
The ones who lately are driving me berserk are the Pakistanis. They're bitching out the US for all the usual stupid reasons and oddly enough they're bitching out Britain. WHEN THEY WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE A STATE IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE BRITISH PUSH BEHIND PARTITION.

Talking about Jews and Israelis is like talking about similar fruit, but at the end of the day very different. I know many American Jews, grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same school, too, many of my teachers were Jews. In boot camp I had a buddy who was a Jew and he brought me along to the Jewish services where we feasted on Kosher Salami sandwiches and Kosher Dill Pickles.
On the other hand, during my film career, I worked with many Israelis. I must say this, they were the most arrogant group of people I have ever met. It is a fact that sometime back in the 60's a certain Israeli General took thousands of Palestinians out to the middle of the desert and told them if you can make it back to civilization, you can live. Needless to say, the majority died as they didn't have any food or water.
I would venture to say that most of our problems with the Muslims in the mideast is a result of our lopsided support of Israel. Not that I am a big fan of Muslims. Even here in the Philippines, they still have a lot of problems with Muslim terrorists who are supported by Indonesian Terrorist groups who are in turn, supported by the middle east Muslim Terrorist groups.
As I write this, down south in Basilan Province, the Philippine Military is engaged in fierce combat with the Abu Sayaff and MILF Muslim Terrorist groups who burned down a village and killed ten families.
As always, the UN is useless as tits on boar hog. It would be great if they could get that neutron bomb going and drop those all over the mideast and include Israel as well! |
